Spike is the only child of former oil rig worker, Sparkplug Witwicky. His teen years on were spent working closely with, and effectively living with, the Autobots trapped on Earth. He later married his girlfriend Carly, and they had one son, Daniel. Spike became the ambassador from Earth to Cybertron, where he and his family now live.
